Open a Razorpay account

Register with Razorpay and finish their onboarding. Funds settle from Razorpay to your own bank account.

Add it in PaymentHood

Paste your Razorpay credentials into the PaymentHood dashboard. They stay server-side and never reach your storefront.

Install the plugin

Download the J2Commerce plugin and install it from Extensions → Manage → Install in your Joomla admin.

Yes — Razorpay supports a wide range of currencies for international cards, with settlement to your Indian bank account in INR. International acceptance usually needs separate approval, so confirm it before launch.

Generally yes. Razorpay onboards Indian-registered businesses. If you are selling into India without one, a merchant-of-record provider is usually the more practical route.
