Accept Revolut
without building the integration

Revolut Business offers merchant acquiring alongside its business banking, so payments land in a multi-currency account you already hold rather than settling to an external bank days later. For merchants already banking with Revolut, that shortened settlement path is the main draw.

Fees
Set and billed by Revolut, and published on their pricing page (opens in new tab). PaymentHood adds nothing on top, at any volume.

Written against Revolut's own documentation on . This page deliberately states no fees, no counts and no completeness claims, because those change without notice — for anything you are about to build on, Revolut's own documentation (opens in new tab) is the authority.

Payment methods

What your customers can pay with

Every method below runs through the same PaymentHood checkout. Turning one on or off is a dashboard setting, not a code change.

Cards

Visa and Mastercard, online and in person

Revolut Pay

One-tap payment for Revolut account holders

Digital wallets

Apple Pay and Google Pay

Payment links

Shareable links and invoices, in a wider currency set than card acceptance

Integration

What PaymentHood handles for you

A direct Revolut integration is not just an API call. These are the parts every team ends up rebuilding — and the parts PaymentHood ships already done.

Credentials
Merchant API secret key, held server-side in PaymentHood
Webhook security
Signed order webhook, validated before an order is released
Payment verification
Server-side order status re-check against the Revolut Merchant API before fulfilment
  • Idempotent charge creation, so a retried request never double-charges a customer
  • Automatic failover to another configured provider when Revolut is unreachable
  • One reconciliation view across Revolut and every other provider you run
  • Provider credentials never reach the storefront or the customer's browser
  • Adding or switching a provider later is a dashboard change, not a re-integration
Setup

Connecting Revolut takes three steps

1

Open your Revolut account

Register directly with Revolut and complete their onboarding. Funds settle from Revolut into your own bank account — PaymentHood never holds merchant money.

2

Add the credentials to PaymentHood

Paste your Revolut API credentials into the PaymentHood dashboard. They are stored server-side and never exposed to your storefront.

3

Enable it at checkout

Install the PaymentHood plugin for your platform, paste your PaymentHood API key, and Revolut appears as a payment option. Test in sandbox, then switch to live.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

A Revolut merchant account accepts card payments in a defined set including GBP, EUR, USD, CAD, CHF, JPY, AUD and ZAR. Payment links and invoices reach a wider set. The two limits differ, so check Revolut's current list for the one that applies to your flow.

Settlement lands in the Revolut business account you already operate, in the currency you accepted, without an external payout leg. If you do not bank with Revolut, that advantage largely disappears.

Coverage is strongest in the UK and EEA. Availability elsewhere is narrower, so confirm your own market with Revolut before planning around it.

No. Revolut bills you directly for its own fees, and PaymentHood takes no percentage and no per-transaction cut at any volume. See PaymentHood pricing.
